North Texas SNAP receives no federal or state funding, operating solely on benevolent gifts. Caring individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations who have a heart for individuals 17 and older living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, provide the support needed to keep North Texas SNAP strong.
Cash, checks, debit and credit cards (Master Card, VISA, Discover or American Express) are accepted. You may designate your gift to a specific program (Expanded Living Program, Girls’ Night Out, J.O.B.S. Club, Men’s Club, Project Neighbor, Social, Transportation, Workforce Internship Program or Workshops) or for North Texas SNAP in general by making a notation on the memo line of your check or online donation. Donations may be made by mail or online.
Monthly Bank Draft or Credit Card Donations
Monthly gifts help sustain North Texas SNAP’s ongoing operations and programs. Please call the 817-545-9456 to set up monthly giving.
Honorariums and Memorials
Donations may be made in honor of or in memory of a special person in your life. Please provide the person’s name and address that you would like to honor or memorialize. A letter will be sent to the honoree or the memorial designee announcing that a donation was made (we do not disclose the amount).
Increase your donation with your employer’s matching funds. Many employers will match your personal donation 1:1. Check with your company for more information on matching gift programs and submit a matching gift form with your contribution. Employer matching gifts may also be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
In-kind donations of office supplies and furnishings help keep North Texas SNAP’s costs at a minimum while providing programs and services to our members. These donations allow us to stretch our dollars and focus our finances on our members. Please call 817-545-9456 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how your company can help North Texas SNAP.

“SNAP is a great way to be social and make new friends! Girls Night Out has helped me discover new things. The Expanded Living Program has helped me become more independent and helped me to prepare for when I move out on my own.”
“Before SNAP I didn’t have “a life”, now I have lots of friends and get to do a lot of fun activities like Men’s Club, Supper Club and Rangers’ games. And I get to learn how to be a better man.”
“I like to go bowling with SNAP because of the great people and the great price! I have become much more social since joining SNAP.”
“I like Supper Club because I can meet new people and greet old friends!”
“I love SNAP. I have a lot of friends. I like bowling. I like to go to dances with my girlfriend. I like Men’s Club and all the different sports events and activities. Project Neighbor helps me to live on my own. I was scared at first but I learned how to be safe, cook, clean and take care of myself.”
“My favorite thing about North Texas SNAP is it’s fun! I like the people. I like to help out my friends. I like going to the movies with my friends. I like learning about leadership in Men’s Club. I am so glad SNAP has helped me through Paul Baker to get a job and live on my own. I am learning how to do things like budgeting my money.”
