Creating Choices for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

Boots & Bling Casino Night

North Texas SNAP was built on the premise that all persons, regardless of their disability, have the right to enjoy the same range of life experiences in which others in their communities enjoy. Our members have the same hopes and dreams as their peers living without intellectual disabilities; they want to have jobs, friends and relationships

This year, approximately 350 individuals will benefit from North Texas SNAP in our local communities including 132 individuals 17 and older living with intellectual disabilities as well as their families.

Join us at our largest fundraising event of the year, Boots & Bling Casino Night on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at The Hurst Conference Center. We are excited to have Miss Fort Worth, Adaline Bebo join us this year as Emcee. Adaline will be entering her junior year as captain of the Golden Girl Feature Twirlers at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She studies neuroscience in the honors BIC program and is a Team USA World Team member, as well as Miss Fort Worth 2017.

Funds raised will support North Texas SNAP programs and services including: Expanded Living Program, Girls’ Night Out, J.O.B.S. Club, Men’s Club, Project Neighbor, Social Activities, Transportation, Workforce Internship Program, and Weekly Workshops. These programs and services are vital to the organization’s MISSION to create and support a variety of programs that assist individuals 17 and older living with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving and sustaining full lives.

North Texas SNAP is asking YOU to PARTNER with us to make this an event individuals, community members, and business professionals won’t want to miss.

Please consider participating in this year’s event by:

  • Sponsoring the event at a monetary level as described in the sponsorship chart provided.
  • Purchasing a table of ten (10) or individual tickets (online registration is open).
  • Volunteering at the event and/or serving on the North Texas SNAP Boots & Bling committee.
  • Contributing an item(s) or service to the raffle and/or silent auction (see list attached).

The impact your partnership and participation will have on the individuals we serve will be very rewarding. With your support, North Texas SNAP can continue to provide a community where people with intellectual disabilities and their families have a network of support, independence, choices and personal success.

On behalf of North Texas SNAP and the members we serve, I would like to thank you for your consideration and hope that we can work together to build a better future for individuals 17 and older living with intellectual disabilities. For more information, please contact Brandy Schimmel at 817-545-9456 or executive.director@ntxsnap.org.
