Paula Baker holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Family & Consumer Services from Illinois State University. She taught and developed cutting edge curriculum for a Transitional Skills Program for 6 years at Tarrant County College- NE Campus. Ms. Baker has had abundant experience as a life coach, job coach and workshop facilitator for 20 years. She has served as North Texas SNAP’s Program Director since 2004, developing new programs, planning and facilitating meetings. She received the Northeast Tarrant County Hometown Hero award in 2014 and the Arts Council Northeast Shining Star award in 2019. Paula is dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting SNAP members, encouraging greater independence, confidence and positive life outcomes.
