North Texas SNAP Ambassadors Club usually meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the SNAP office 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Check under “Events” for the next upcoming meeting.
Ambassadors Club is open to all Members interested in learning to improve their social skills, greeting and hosting abilities, public speaking skills, “booth skills” and confidence while representing North Texas SNAP to the community at chamber of commerce and community events, expos, speaking engagements, fundraisers and to new and prospective members. Monthly meetings are designed to guide and encourage Members in social and public speaking skills, practice role-playing, training, guest speakers and a lot of affirmation support in developing ambassador skills.
For more information, please contact our Program Director.
“I hesitated to take Amy to Ambassador’s Club because I was not sure her communication skills were good enough. I am so glad we tried it. Amy has been able to recite several lines of a speech, serve as a greeter for an event and initiate conversation with others.” Jo
