North Texas SNAP Men’s Club typically meets the 4th Friday of each month at the SNAP office 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Check under “Events” for the next upcoming meeting.
Men’s Club provides our male Members with information and encouragement regarding issues specific to men such as self-reliance, greater independence, men’s health, strategy-building, teamwork, safety, and community service while doing fun activities such as basketball, cookouts, self-defense instruction, woodworking, games and more. Men’s Club is a group where they can socialize, develop friendships, learn new things and focus on issues of interest through positive role models from the community.
North Texas SNAP also offers opportunities to our Men’s Club Members to volunteer their time to community service projects within the community.
Facilitators highlight positive characteristics of “super men”, to inspire and motivate Members to work on developing these characteristics in their lives. Men’s Club offers a fun social time but always with a purpose.
