The Project Neighbor Program was developed to assist Members with support and training who are living on their own with the support of family/others. Project Neighbor is a fee-based program for people with mild or moderate intellectual and/or developmental abilities.
Project Neighbor enables participants to safely and successfully enjoy the rights, privileges and responsibilities like their peers living without a disability. The focus of training includes the following areas and more where additional support is needed, as deemed a priority either by the Member, family and Program Director) for a successful living situation and the well-being of the individual:
