Rita Goodner and husband Rick have resided in Colleyville since 1986. They have a blended family of four children and five grandchildren. Rita joined SNAP in 2002 to help her son, Paul. She volunteered as President until 2016 and currently serves as a Director.
Rita has represented SNAP by speaking to various organizations and groups in the area and serves on the Social Committee, and volunteers at all fundraising events. Rita is a member of the Colleyville Woman’s club, Colleyville Lion’s Club.
Honors: 2004 – Parent of the Year award from the Association of Retarded citizens of Tarrant County, 2008 – Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year” Award and 2012 – SafeHaven Legacy of Women Award for Health & Human Services.
