Rita Goodner resides in Colleyville and joined North Texas SNAP in 2002 after several years of searching for an organization for her son, Paul. She and Paul joined with a commitment to help in any way to develop programs and opportunities for the special needs community.
Rita volunteers with all fundraising events and represents SNAP by speaking to various organizations & groups. She also volunteers at social activities & programs and serves as a director of SNAP.
Rita was honored in 2008 to receive the “Citizen of the Year” award from the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce and in 2012 she was honored to receive the SafeHaven Legacy of Women Award.
