North Texas SNAP Ambassadors Club meets once a month on Tuesday at the SNAP office from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Check under “Events” for the next upcoming meeting or the the weekly newsletter.
Ambassadors Club is open to all Members interested in learning ways to improve their social skills, greeting and hosting abilities, public speaking skills, “booth skills” and confidence while having the opportunity to represent North Texas SNAP to the community at chamber of commerce and community events, expos, speaking engagements, fundraisers and to new and prospective members. Monthly meetings are designed to guide and encourage Members in social and public speaking skills, practice role-playing, training, guest speakers and a lot of affirmation support in developing ambassador skills. We are also incorporating Improv as a means to develop confidence, creativity, and comfort in presenting in front of others. We are finding this to be a fun and exciting approach! Any level of communication skills is welcome.

“I hesitated to take Amy to Ambassador’s Club because I was not sure her communication skills were good enough. I am so glad we tried it. Amy has been able to recite several lines of a speech, serve as a greeter for an event and initiate conversation with others.” Jo
